The town’s 2,500 residents, as well as anyone within 20 kilometres, have been ordered to leave immediately
To date, more than 17,000 people have been displaced by wildfires in Manitoba, including 5,000 from Flin Flon.
About 8,000 people have been affected by wildfires in Saskatchewan, ignited by hot, dry weather that has allowed some blazes to grow and threaten more than two dozen communities.
