Québec bans cellphones in schools this fall

In a bold move to rein in classroom distractions, Québec officials are set to enforce a complete ban on cellphones at primary and secondary schools from the start of the school year—during classes, breaks, and on school grounds. The policy aims to bolster learning environments.

L’interdiction sera en vigueur du début jusqu’à la fin des cours, incluant lors des pauses et sur le terrain des écoles.
