Canada Post finds itself at the center of a tense labour standoff as union representatives scrutinize the latest offers with a looming 72‑hour strike notice and a Friday midnight deadline. Both sides appear to be trading barbs and counteroffers in what can only be described as a high-stakes postal chess match, leaving workers and customers anxiously waiting for the next move.
While the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) had asked for two weeks to review and consider the offer, Canada Post turned down their demand.
