Lapu-Lapu festival tragedy sparks dubious fundraising campaigns

In the wake of a fatal incident at the Lapu-Lapu festival, fundraising efforts have taken an unexpected turn. One campaign—which purported to honor a lost loved one—was exposed as fraudulent, while a grieving teen redirected half of his raised funds to help other victims, leaving the public both amused and irked.
